This is the best thing! It was a little bit confusing to install because the instructions are mostly pictures, but I figured it out. Once I got it together, it was also a little confusing to set up. It says to add a new passcode that you push the reset button, then unlock, then enter 123456, then unlock and then one more series of numbers, but when I did this it set my passcode as 123456, so I deleted it following the instructions, then I hit the reset button, entered the passcode I wanted, hit unlock, entered it again, hit unlock and it saved it.
The things I love about this deadbolt lock are that it auto locks, and you can adjust the time in case you need to unlock the doorknob too (my doorknob is fingerprint unlocked, but I still set the lock to 30 seconds just so I do not feel rushed). When you get inside, if you feel the need there is a button you can push to auto lock, or you can turn the lock itself. My doorknob does not have a lock on the inside which is a little annoying, so I appreciate that this deadbolt lock has a physical locking mechanism on the inside.
Another thing I love is that the doorknob talks! It tells you what steps to follow when setting a password, lets you know if it is was successful or not, and tells you when the door is locked!
I also love the anti peep security feature, you can type random numbers before and after your passcode in case anyone is watching so they can not see your real password and it would be hard to remember 20 numbers as opposed to 6.
Another thing I love is it lets you know when batteries are low so you do not get locked out, but in case you forget to change them, it does come with a set of keys.
The only con I can think of at this time is there is not an option to keep the door from locking until you tell it to in case you are bringing in a lot of groceries or coming in and out a lot particularly with full hands, it would be kind of a pain to have to unlock your door every time you come back with an armload of groceries, and it would not be good if the door was open and slammed shut with the deadbolt sticking out either. Perhaps I am overlooking something in the directions and that feature is there because there is one section I am not understanding, but it is not that big of a deal to me.
Other than that one negative, I love this lock so much!

I recently installed the electronic door handle on my bedroom door and it has been a game-changer for both security and convenience.
The design is sleek and minimalistic, making it a great addition to any modern room. It doesn't look overly bulky or tech-heavy, which is perfect for interior spaces like a bedroom or office.
Installation was straightforward and quick. Since this was for a room door, I didn't need any major tools aside from a screwdriver. It took me around 20 minutes to replace the old handle with this one, and the included instructions were clear.
The handle offers a few access PIN code and finger, both of which have been reliable. The PIN pad is responsive and the backlight is a nice feature, especially in low-light conditions.

Pros:
Took me 10 minutes overall to get this thing on, 5 minutes to remove the old, and 5 minutes to install + program.
Finger printing was easy on my part, had no issues reading whatsoever
Cons:
Would be better if it allowed shorter passwords (minimum of 6)
Ability to remove existing fingerprints from the registry
Overall, it is a good product, and satisfies a need as I occasionally forget my keys or just need the ease of access if someone needs to be in my room when I am not home.
Would happily buy again

490T has been a great addition to our home. I like having multiple unlocking methods, especially the app for remote control. It is perfect when you are in a rush.

The multiple ways to unlock the door make it perfect for my household. My parents use the IC card, while I prefer the fingerprint feature. A great balance of security and convenience.

This smart lock is a game-changer! The fingerprint scanner is fast, and the keypad is a reliable backup when my hands are full. Love the convenience!

Excelente producto.

I wasn't 100% sure what to expect from this item except that I would be able to use my fingerprint to unlock my door after getting it and setting up the handle which was actually much easier than I expected I noticed that it automatically locks. Which is made my life a lot less stressful I use it for my office door so that I can protect the data on my PC and of course any products that I bring in that being said once it's locked even though the handle turns the door will not open until you use the fingerprint there are keys included and it also has a option to set up a passcode I opted out of using a passcode and I'm just using the fingerprint and key method to open the door so it's definitely worth it if you're looking for a affordable addition to the security of your home or office or any room in your home I do know it can hold multiple fingerprints but since this was being used for my personal space it only has mine on it

I'm not an expert at installing door knobs but I was able to install this one. It is programmed for my thumbprint as well as my son's thumbprint. I used to leave the garage entrance to the house unlocked because groceries are easier to carry in if the door is already unlocked. With this doorknob I have the added security of knowing that the door locks every time it closes. There is also a code that can be entered into the handle so other family members can enter without the use of the thumbprint. I am wondering how often I will have to replace the batteries.

The Good: Works well. Options for opening. Looks good. App is well designed.
The Long Review: The Ironzon fingerprint smart door lock was a real pleasant surprise for me. I have a workshop at home and have family come by with their little ones, and there's a lot of tools I don't want small hands finding and hurting themselves on. This door lock fit the bill, allowing me to set up a more advanced locking system on an interior door, without having to go overboard or needing to carry around a key with me at all times.
Installation was a breeze, the parts literally replaced my interior door handle and lock. However, I noticed that their striker plate was this rectangle of metal, which wouldn't cover up the wood on the door frame at all. So, instead of using their new plate, I just reused the old striker plate, which gave me a perfectly fine connection with the latch, and worked as if they were designed for each other.
The app is decently designed and worked very well. Setup wasn't overly difficult, with the only rough part being that I had to listen to that horrible voice at way too high of a volume, coming out of way too tiny of a speaker. The result was almost nails on a chalkboard, but I survived, and it was worth the brief suffering once the handle and lock were installed and working.
One of the aspects I really appreciated was the variety of ways you have to unlock this. Fingerprint? Check. Digital code? Check. App? Check! I've tested each method several times, all of them working quite well. However, I did notice that the fingerprint scanner on it is fairly small. So, you might think you know where your thumb is going to land on it when you go to open the door, but if you're like me, you'll miss your mark.
That led to several minutes of frustration as I couldn't get my thumbprint to register - it wasn't the lock's fault. While programming my thumbprint, I did only one grouping of prints, and they were all near the tip - a part that I seldom have touch the plate when I go to open it. Instead, my natural grip was placing the LOWER half of my thumbprint up against the sensor. Oops! Once that was corrected, I had zero issues with the system.
While my use for this was an interior door to keep tiny hands off dangerous power tools, I think I would feel confident using this in outdoor conditions as well. The batteries are stored on the interior side, so as long as your area being secured had sufficient heat inside, you shouldn't have to worry about the batteries being drained rapidly due to cold weather.
Final Thoughts: For my first foray into smart door locks, Ironzon made it relatively painless. Installation of both app and hardware was simple and straight forward, as is daily use. I'd say it's money well spent - just save your old strike plate, you'll probably need it.

What I can tell you is everything required to replace an existing door handle is included. Even if it's a brand new door there is a template included that makes a new door easy too.
I have assembled the handle both sides and already programmed it with my thumb print. I also set-up an administrator passcode and additional passcode. Two actual keys are included so be sure to keep one out of the locked room or house, just in case. I don't feel like the keys could easily be duplicated by someone trying to gain entry at all. Installation is straight forward with a one plug connection that goes through the very center shaft of the handle.
Easy enough to understand and program I even linked the security lock to the app all free of charge. The keys function great, lots of features like auto locking or time delay. Five Stars already.
I haven't tested the battery life but it runs on 4 AAA batteries hidden in the inside handle(not included). There is also a USB-C power port on the outside of the door handle in case the batteries go completely dead. Power port is hidden very well just like the keyhole location.
When I want to enter I just place my thumb on the center pad and almost instantly click im in, and works Everytime. The passcode requires a wake up touch then enter 4 or 6 digit code and touch the # key.
The voice prompts are a great help but they can be turned down all the way so nobody wakes up to beeps or voices from the digital door lock.
This product is one of the better electronic smart door locks I've seen. Very clean look, sleek design and functions great.
Thank you.

Always wanted one of these. Firstly, I personally would never use a smart lock for my front door. But as far as these go, if these are what you want for a front door then this would do the job perfectly fine. The pictures shown are not installed in the door since this will be for my new apartment. When I install it I may update if there is anything noteworthy to say.
For my use I am going to turn the utility closet in my apartment as a secured place to store things I don't want anyone working for my landlord to access when I'm not there. Before you read my long drawn out review I would just say buy it. Good price, quality and well thought out.
I've wanted one of these for a long time but I always expected them to be cheaper in quality and gimmicky but I'm happily surprised it isnt.
I manage to put mine together without the manual so it's pretty easy if you know how door knobs go together. Seems to have good water proofing to prevent problems of water damage. The batteries are in the inside door knob and out of the weather. You can replace the batteries before they degrade and ruin the whole system or cause a fire. The whole thing is almost completely made of metal.
The 'smart' aspect of this lock is pretty thorough. Looks like it uses an app that I've used other smart devices that you can manage all in the same app. You can add multiple users code and fingerprint. Notifies you every time the door is accessed if you want it to. There is a lot of smart controo to this. I turned off the sounds because frankly it's distracting.
I also really like the fail-safes built in. If the power dies or disconnects, the outside knob has enough power to lock the door so that you have to use the key to open. That way it doesn't stay unlocked or inaccessible when the batteries die. You can also charge the batteries via USB-C.

I paint houses for a living and have removed hundreds of door locks to paint doors so I thought I would have no problem installing this one. That was not the case. I struggled for quite a while with getting wire from the one half plugged into the other side. I was using tweezers, needle nose pliers and a clamp on magnifier light and still couldn't get things lines up. I was almost sure it was impossible and was cursing the engineers in my head for making the cable so short when I studied the directions again taking special notice of the position of the half I had to plug into in the picture. I tried one more time duplicating the photo and it clipped right in without the use of tools! So my tip to you is follow the instructions especially when plugging the two halves together through the door. After that the rest of the assembly was a breeze. It was frustrating but as the picture in the instructions shows how to do it I can't deduct any stars for that. The door lock works well and you have so many options and settings through the app. You can set multiple fingerprints, use the included keychains or a generated code to open the locked door. You can set length of time it stays unlocked and even temporarily set it to passage so it stays unlocked. I haven't figured out if it's possible to set your own code at a shorter length but I haven't found a way. I also haven't spent much time trying to do so. Being a painter I often have paint on my fingers at the end of the day and the fingerprint reader rejects my print. I ran into an issue the other day where this happened and I didn't have one of the keychain fobs. I thought I was going to have to climb in through an open window when luckily I remembered I had my phone in my pocket and was able to open it with that. I'm still learning all the ins and outs but this is a very cool lock and I'm quite happy with it.

This electronic door handle is pretty nice. The quality of the build is good, and it has a bespoke app for controlling it that actually worked and allowed for the device to be properly setup. My one complaint about this is similar to other complaints about these kinds of products. I want to use this on my front door but the keypad is so large it interferes with the dead bolt area. Because I want to replace my locks with this kind of lock, I wish they'd go ahead and have it big enough to fully cover the deadbolt location. As it stands I had to use it on a different door. Once installed and setup it worked great. It does not have wifi so the app uses bluetooth.
Solid product!

Lock Handle .... Nice to use fingerprints, number code, or app .... If it fails, comes with two metal keys
Easy install .... Did need the OLD striker plate, due the the longer shape of my present door .... and the handle has the code numbers installed HORIZONTALLY, in White, so you read them sideways
Internal battery is charged by USB "C" port (cord NOT included) ..... or use 4 AAA alkaline batteries (triple A's size) (also NOT included)
App used is 'Tuya Smart' ... Adding a device is easy: Make sure the Handle has power charge .... FIRST tap the fingerprint outer button to awaken it, then find with Blue tooth ... Follow the easy steps on the screen of your phone or tablet .... Takes less than 3 minutes
Recommend you save multiple fingerprints, of different fingers, for each user .... In case you might injure one, the other will work
You also have a code number of 6-10 digits for everyone in the house to use, and each person CAN choose an additional code (you can track who is in the house by that number) ... Code can be changed often as you wish, and there's a weekly reminder too, that pops up if enabled
Settings include Auto Lock off or on, so can be used indoors on a closet or such, and left open/not locked until you wish to keep people out of it, by simply engaging the app with one click .... Passcode enabled for only so many hours, to let in a babysitter or cleaner, for example, then is removed, unless you make them a more permanent user .... Has Low Battery notification as well
Great Handle Lock, feels Thick, sturdy, easy to grab hold of ... Plastic plate shows fingerprints and needs wiped, but very worthwhile knob .... Like it a lot
