The instructions to install the door handle were easy to read and detailed enough to understand. There are pictures that added more clarity if there was any confusion.
Once the install is done, I added my finger print (or attempted to). I thought my fingerprint was in the system, but when I tried to unlock the door it would not unlock. It wasn't until I opened the app to add my fingerprint and the instructions were clear.
Adding the code was easy to follow.
The instruction book gives more information on how to reset your code/finger prints as well.
When entering the code/fingerprint, the sound for each button is unbearably loud. However, if you open the app, you can change the volume of the lock navigation sounds to normal, low, or mute.
In the app, you can check the lock history, unlock the door remotely, and manage your finger print and code. You are also able to add your voice lock (although I have not turned on that option yet).
The sleek design and easy installation make it perfect for any home, hotel, office, or apartment. Plus, the added security features provide peace of mind. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their door lock system. The app is very user friendly and you can program multiple thumb prints.
As someone who isn't super handy, installing was basically a breeze other than I did not test it prior to install (rookie move) the first one I received, seemed to be defective and did not have any power but I reached out to customer service and they were able to replace it quickly and have one shipped to me within a day. The second time around, it took less than 10 mins to install. I really like it so far! The only thing that would make this lock better is some type of confirmation from the inside that the door is locked. I'm big on safety and double check all doors at night and that does seem to bother me a bit. Overall, the handle seems to be really good quality and the packaging was great! Also, I love that they provide a QR code with a how to video.
I have a kid who loses keys, and just wanted something only he and I could get in with (not his friends or intrusive neighbors etc. ) This works perfectly. install was pretty simple, I had a goofy lock in previously, so chiseling out the spot for the strike plate to sit was a pain. Didn't need dead bolt or anything else, just entry. Does exactly as I wanted. Only complaint I have and reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because you can't program it to be passage. So when the grandkids are over or you're BBQing out back and running in and out, someone needs to always be letting little kids in and out. Other than that 6 months later I'm still very happy with my purchase. Only other half issue, is sometimes if you're thumb is dirty or whatnot it takes a couple tries to let you in. But never been locked out yet (knock on wood)

Installation was straightforward and quick. Since this was for a room door, I didn't need any major tools aside from a screwdriver. It took me around 20 minutes to replace the old handle with this one, and the included instructions were clear.
The handle offers a few access PIN code and finger, both of which have been reliable. The PIN pad is responsive and the backlight is a nice feature, especially in low-light conditions.
